Facial at Estetica Westgate Review

By Joanna Koh

If you’ve been flipping through magazines recently, you might have seen a svelte and chic Jesseca Liu fronting the ads for Estetica. I got a chance to try out their facial and found out first hand why Jesseca loves Estetica facials.   I visited the newly opened Westgate branch of Estetica, which has nine outlets across Singapore. Before my facial began, I was given a skin analysis which showed me my skin condition in great detail.

Following that, I was led into a cozy treatment room decorated in purple

The facial I tried is called the ActivCalm Facial ($168/ 90 minutes), which other than soothing delicate and sensitive skin, also relaxes you.In fact, I fell asleep during the massage segment of the facial! Skin is hydrated and healthy.

I also had the Advanced Cryo + Freeze Therapy ($98 / 45 minutes), which is like a needle-free mesotherapy facial. A serum is applied after and the special machines help this serum penetrate your skin.

Overall, the facial was very enjoyable, relaxing, and the results (glowy and healthy skin) are visible. I do however, suggest that if you are making an appointment for the first time, request for a therapist who speaks English if your Mandarin isn’t too good, so the therapist can explain clearly the steps and treatment.
