Hey There,
After a late one last night, it feels nice to be sat with a cuppa tea, chilling out and writing a blog post today. I’m a bit of a self confessed shopaholic or shall I say spendaholic, (I spend money very easily) so of course this months wishlist did not just end at Beauty and Fashion, but I had to include a few others things I would love this month.
A Trip To Rome – OK, so this item on my wishlist is a bit OTT, I have just come back from a holiday, and no this will never happen this month. I have been wanting to go to Rome since Christmas, but it just never happened. After having such an amazing week away with Ben, it just would be nice to be able to get away again for a long weekend. Maybe this will be a bit more realistic in September time…(I will up my persuasion techniques).
Greek Recipe Book – If you have been reading my blog over the last week, you will have seen me banging on about the Greek cuisine and how much I miss Mousaka, and Pork Gyros. I think it took one day in Rhodes before I started saying I needed a Greek recipe book.
Reading Books- This month I am also trying to get back in to reading, (I spoke about this in my ‘Picking Up A Book Again‘ post) so I’m trying to keep my eye out for some good reads, or at least easy reads that will slowly get me back in to it. My mom has a whole collection of detective, murder mystery type books, which I should really give a try, (As they are free), but I just no I’ll end up dreaming weird things. My Hunger Games dreams were bad enough.
Emma Bridgewater – Everyone loves a Cath Kidston print, but I think I may actually prefer the Emma Bridgewater range when it comes to kitchen sets. A few months a go I saw a Emma Bridgewater teapot and mug set, which had the cutest polka heart print, the only thing that stopped me was the price tag. I can’t start the day without a cuppa, and of course it is a nice social drink for anyone that pops over for a chat, (That’s showing my age….Maybe I should just get the wine out).
Personal trainer - It has finally dawned on me, that in exactly 8 weeks, I will be running my first ever half marathon, the Great North run. Have I done any training?…NO! I literally have no excuses, I may have done the odd run or gym session but nothing to the extreme I need to go. I ran the Great South run last year which is 3 miles shorter, and felt like my legs where going to fall off, so I am starting to get pretty scared. I need someone who will shout at me, and get me back in to some sort of fit shape.
What’s on your everyday wishlist this month?
Lots of Love,
KBxx
