Coming back to Impulsive it’s described as a muted ballet pink but which is like a nice nude lipstick with a pink undertone. Estee Lauder describes these lipsticks as high intensity color, super creamy, sensually soft and smooth, luxuriously comfortable. And that is exactly how the Estee Lauder pure color envy lipsticks are. True to their word Estee Lauder pure color envy lipsticks are super creamy but not in a slippery buttery sling off the lips way. These are dense and hydrating and surprisingly long wearing for a creamy non matte formula.

Estee Lauder Pure Color Envy lipstick Impulsive has a cream shine finish where its not matte but it isnt overly shiny as well and after few minutes of wear it gets to a semi matte finish. The formula is creamy and hydrating and the lipstick doesnt settle into the fine lines of the lips, as I mentioned its a bit of a thicker creamy formula which makes it distribute color evenly on the lips, and also the color fades evenly.
Estee Lauder Pure Color Envy Lipstick retails for INR 2500 . Its a high end brand and the prices are always up there. But with these you get top notch quality also. So I dont mind splurging on these because quiet honestly I havent come across a better formula in cream lipsticks.

Pigmentation is great on Impulsive as it is in Dominant, so the formula is consistent in light colors as well as the more deeper tones as well. Impulsive gives me a wear time of 6 plus hours easily, it doesnt survive a meal but it doesnt go away completely either, also another thing that is great with cream lipsticks is re application is not a hassle as it is with liquid lipsticks.

Impulsive is a muted light pink lipstick which is very flattering on fair to medium skin tone. It will wash you out if you have deeper skin tone, you would require a deeper lip liner to make it work .
I have used Estee Lauder Double Wear Foundation, and its of the best long staying full coverage foundation. And now I am in love with these Estee Lauder Pure Color Envy Lipsticks as they are creamy, hydrating, pigmented and long wearing.
