Estee Lauder’s Holiday 2013 Collection is out in stores now and here’s a look at some of the beautiful makeup and skincare sets available. As always, the presentation is immaculate – polished and festive, the theme of Perfect Presents resonates throughout the entire collection.
Zodiac Powder Collection
Zodiac Powder Collection (S$180 each) features the 12 Zodiac signs in sleek matte gold compacts adorned with Swarovski crystals. The compact is filled with the universally-wearable Lucidity Translucent Pressed Powder.
Year of the Horse Powder Compact
In recognition of the Year of the Horse in 2014, Estee Lauder has created a Limited Edition Powder Compact featuring the horse. The horse is a symbol of success in the Chinese tradition. The color scheme of turquoise, orange and brown like the Beryl gemstones are also symbolic of success. Like the Zodiac powder compacts, the Year of the Horse Powder Compact is also filled with the universally-wearable Lucidity Translucent Pressed Powder and will retail at S$300.
Golden Luxuries Set
The Golden Luxuries Set features a limited Edition Lipstick in Christmas Kiss, a Golden Alligator Powder Compact and a golden hard-shell evening clutch. A value of S$190, it retails at S$80 with any S$50 Estee Lauder purchase (a purchase with purchase special).
Portfolio Colour Set
The Portfolio Colour Set is another purchase with purchase special – a value of S$970, it retails for S$108 with any S$120 Estee Lauder purchase. A complete face color set, it features 30 Pure Colour Eyeshadows, 15 lipstick pours, 2 lipglosses, a double-ended kajal pencil and 4 cheek colours.
Lush Lips Set
The Lush Lips Set (S$76) features a trio of lip products in a glitzy makeup bag. These come in 2 color variants – the set pictured above features Pure Colour Lipstick in Barely Nude, Pure Colour Lip Gloss compact in Tempting Tea Rose and a Stay-in-Place Lip Pencil in Rose. The other color combination features a slightly deeper color palette, with Pure Colour Lipstick in Fig and complementing lipgloss and lip pencil shades in Cherry Fever Shimmer and Wine respectively.
Golden Nights Set
The Golden Nights Set features a 6-shade eye color compact and a 2-shade cheek color compact, a full-sized lipstick in Crystal Nude, a deluxe-sized Zero-Smudge Lengthening Mascara, a deluxe-sized Stay-in-Place Eye Pencil in Coffee and a pot of lipgloss in Innocence Shimmer. Nail Lacquer Set
I love this Nail Lacquer set – it has 4 great shades, one of which is Smashed (which I reviewed recently HERE). It features deluxe-sized nail lacquers in So Vain, Smashed, Fallen Angel and Black Plum and retails for S$72. Perfect for stocking stuffers too!
Fragrance Coffrets
Estee Lauder also has rolled out different fragrance coffrets – it’s great to see different combinations of the fragrance and bath & body line in each fragrance range at different price points. Similar coffrets are also available in the Beautiful and Sensuous fragrance ranges.
Beautiful Mini Soaps
Great as stocking stuffers or for someone who loves the fragrance dearly, the set of 4 fragranced soaps in Beautiful retail at S$68.
Anti-Wrinkle Skincare Set
Estee Lauder also has 3 different skincare sets in attractive coffrets – great value for money if you’re getting them for yourself too. Pictured above is the Anti-Wrinkle Skincare Set which retails at S$140. The Hydration Skincare Set retails at S$120 and the Firming/Lifting Skincare Set retails at S$155. Each skincare set features a deluxe sized serum, a deluxe-sized eye cream, a 50ml cleanser and a 50ml creme.
