This product has a rather misleading name, because this eyeshadow is most definitely not holographic. The effect is more of a sparkling slight duo chrome finish which I really like & in this shade '74 peach beach' it reminds me of the infamous Stila 'kitten' with its creamy champagne hue. Wait, let's not get too excited just yet, as this beautiful shimmery effect is just a light over spray. WHY DO COSMETIC COMPANIES DO THIS?!? It's so frustrating, my beady magpie like eye will spot & buy something shiny & pretty only to later find out that after a couple of uses it's nothing more than a plain old matte product! I find it so misleading, as after the thin over spray is rubbed away your left with a satin shadow with no hint of sparkle in sight. Yes it is a nice wearable shade that I will most probably get some use out of. The texture is nice & smooth & easy to work with considering the very low price tag. Packaging is pretty standard but feels sturdy & I do like the fact that you can see the color of the eyeshadow from within the packaging.
Over all I do feel that this shadows name 'Holographic Effect' is very misleading. Having said that if you're after a nice creamy champagne shade for a very affordable price then it may be worth a try as it does have a nice formula.
