Empties & Quick Review | Feb & Mar'16

By Hlthbeauty
Lovely ladies.... How is your weekend going?
Back with an empties post for both February & March months, since I missed doing one last time.
You can check out how I emptied a humongous amount of products in January earlierin this post.
I am definitely a gal on a mission - only wish I could finish makeup as well just like other stuff! :D
Coming back to the post, had some decent number of products finished both in Feb & March. Let's see what are they...
FEBRUARY '16 EMPTIES
Empties & Quick Review | Feb & Mar'16
DAVID OFF COOL WATER WOMAN SHOWER GEL
Received this full size product in one of the My Envy Boxes late last year. One of my favorite subtle scents! Finished this in a month's time. Very mild fragrance lingers post shower though it lathers well and envelopes you in its fragrance during use.
OILCRAFT NATURALS PREMIUM PANCHPUSHP WATER
My first tryst with Panchpushp Water was with Forest Essentials Panchpushp Toner in travel size. I really loved it and finished in 15 days time. Had then picked this since I was getting four times the size of Forest Essentials at the same price!
This is a good facial mist/toner as well. Smells great and soothes the skin. I love it more when I use it chilled. But yes, a slight luxury factor that you smell or perceive from Forest Essentials is missing in this product!
GIA BATH AND BODY WORKS CHOCOLATE FACIAL CLEANSER
This came along in my September Gia Bath & Body Works Subscription Box. I loved using this facial cleanser and got about 6-7 uses from it. Only a little is needed each use, smells natural, smells great, feels great on the skin and face looks refreshed post each use! It doesn't smell too sweet unlike other chocolate based products which is a big plus.
For someone who doesn't like or prefer chocolate in anything, I loved it to bits and shall definitely pick the full size some day!
GIA BATH AND BODY WORKS CLEMENTINE  BODY WASH
This travel size shower gel came along in the same subscription box as above. Smells so amazing that you might wanna drink it up like freshly pressed orange juice! Its got the right mix of sweetness & tang to it - I was always reminded of Minute Maid Pulpy Orange drink somehow everytime I used it!
I had posted about this here as well.Totally buying the full size some day! If you are into fresh fruity or citrus fragrances - go for this eyes closed!
ESTEE LAUDER PLEASURES EDP VIAL
One of my most favorite fragrances! Definitely picking the full size from US someday, its crazily priced in India! This one came along with my Estee Lauder purchases as a sample and I was saving it for so long. Ended up indulging in it on Valentine's Day finally! :P

FACES MAGNETEYES KAJAL
I had picked this immediately upon launch back in June last year. This had managed to replace my loyalty to Lakme Eyeconic Kajal. Though staying power ain't very great, it never smudged on my waterline. Gave me about 3-4 hrs. of wear in my watery eyes without smudge. At 175 bucks, worth it!
This completes my February empties. Moving on to March now...
MARCH '16 EMPTIES
Empties & Quick Review | Feb & Mar'16
THE BODY SHOP GINGER SPARKLE BODY POLISH
Ginger Sparkle is one of my all time favorite variants from The Body Shop! I had hauled the complete Ginger Sparkle range in early 2014 over sale, only to see them never come back!
TBS body polishes are great in terms of combining scrub and shower gel into one. The walnut sheel granules offer mild exfoliation along with the lathering body wash for those who want a quick dual action product at one go!
L'OREAL COLOUR PROTECT SHAMPOO & CONDITIONER
I had colored my hair back in January and had picked this color protect shampoo+conditioner duo.
This did a decent job on color protection at the given price. Both shampoo and conditioner look so alike that you have to always take a second look before application - a small drawback.
You can read more about my hair cut & coloring experience at Aaakara Salon HERE.
And for the first time ever in history, the conditioner too got over along with the shampoo! :D
SMITH'S ROSE BUD SALVE LIP BALM
My most favorite lip balm of all times and something that I swear by and recommend for dry-chapped lips! Picked this during my trip to the US and already have a backup now.
Yes - it has petroleum jelly but this seems to be the only lip balm that helps me sail through the dry winter months. Everything else fail and leave me with dry, severely chapped lips. And for a matte lipstick lover - chapped lips are big NO!
I might continue to stock these up from the US until I found a great alternative around.
KAMA AYURVEDA BRINGADI HAIR TREATMENT OIL
Got some of these in the Kama Holi Complimentary Box and have couple of them already from earlier purchases. This is one product that shows effectiveness from single use.
Check out my Kama Ayurveda haul HERE
Detailed review coming soon once I complete all of the vials I have of this oil.
YVES ROCHER ORGANIC RASPBERRY SHOWER GEL
Another shower gel that you would want to drink up rather! Bright raspberry red color and amazing sweet berry fragrance bowls you over. Lathers and cleans well - though fragrance is barely noticed post drying. Very handy for travel!
Products that I recommend or would repurchase from the above empties -
  • Gia BBW Chocolate Facial Cleanser
  • Gia BBW Clementine Body Wash
  • Estee Lauder EDP - Pleasures
  • Faces Magneteyes Kajal
  • Smith's Rosebud Salve Lip Balm
  • Kama Ayurveda Bringadi Hair Treatment Oil

I have set aside a huge basket of products to be used and emptied by April - see you soon then with my thoughts on them and recommendations! :)
