Batiste Dry Shampoo- Proud & True Brit
I love a good dry shampoo and Batiste is one of the best. I have purchased countless bottles of the stuff over the years. The scent reminds me of Marc Jacobs Daisy- it's sweet and floral and gorgeous. It's a great inexpensive product which does what it claims.
Would I buy again? I've repurchased Batiste Dry Shampoo over and over again and will continue to do so. I believe this scent was a special release for the London Olympics- if I can find it again I will!
Redken Real Control Shampoo & Conditioner
I have to admit over the years I've tried almost all of the Redken Shampoos & Conditioners in their range some of my favourites being- AllSoft, BodyFull and Colour Extend. Sadly the Real Control range was just OK. I do have one main complaint I found it too heavy for my hair and couldn't go the extra day before needing to wash. I could see it working well for someone with coarse/dry or frizzy hair.
Would I buy again? I would purchase from Redken again but not this particular line. It was much too heavy for my hair. Steer clear if you have fine or limp hair. This is not for you.
Loreal Elnett Hairspray
An oldie but a goodie. This hairspray has been around forever and there is a good reason why! It is inexpensive and it does the job it claims. If you need a great all purpose hairspray have a look at Elnett next time you are at the shops. It comes in an enormous can it is easy to spot!
Would I buy again? Yes. In fact I already have a backup in the cupboard.
John Frieda Frizz Ease- 3 Day Straight
This became a cult product amongst bloggers and Youtuber's several years ago-there was a lot of hype surrounding it's release. Of course like any influential consumer I was sucked into the hype. I tested the product a few times- wasn't overly impressed and it's sat at the back of my cupboard for the last year. I have recently made the effort to use this up. I love collecting beauty products but I do hate waste! I don't believe it helps keeps your style for any longer than any other blow dry sprays or leave in conditioners I've tried. I am also adverse to the scent- I am not sure why- it is not offensive but still not my favorite.
Would I buy again? No. It's been difficult enough to finish the first bottle!
