Emjoi could be new to all of us here but is a household name back there in the US. This brand is also into epilators that are quite famous! The pocket-friendly nature of the brand is its USP and the main reason why I opted for it amidst other brands available.

MY TAKE ON THE PRODUCT
My body skin is dry and the feet are no exception! They are very dry and look parched and thirsty at any given time. Car driving also gives me a thick dry layer of skin under the big toe and top area of the foot. I am not a regular at the salon for a pedicure owing to my hectic work and home schedule. All this are driving factors for me to opt for an electric pedicure tool.
Emjoi Nano is very compact, handy and fits nicely in the palm. There is a button in the front of the body to operate it.
Once switched on, the pedi-roller moves at an unbelievable speed. One is supposed to use it like a razor moving all over the feet to get rid of dead skin build up. In areas that require concentration, you can roll Emjoi slowly to clean up dead skin accumulation.
Emjoi needs to be used on dry skin and I would recommend putting a sheet of newspaper under your feet when using the pedi-roller because the dead skin gets pulverized and comes out as a fine powder.
There is no speed setting options available, but I don't think its needed too - since 30 times a second rotation is amazing enough to tackle every bit of dead skin.
By default this product comes with an extra-coarse roller. Coarse, Super Coarse, Extreme Coarse and Precision Coarse options of roller refills are available to choose from based on your requirement. Elbow exfoliation rollers are available too. The biggest advantage with Emjoi is all the roller options are compatible with all the machines.
I have been using Emjoi for once a week now since over a month and the initial refill that it came with is still going good. I already had picked two sets of refills (packs of 4) since they are not available in India.
Multiple people in the family can use the same electric foot file by changing the pedi-rollers. I share mine with my mom who has severe dry feet and cracked heel too.
Both of us see a huge difference immediately after use of Emjoi. The feet feels touchably soft and all that pokey dead skin or rough, thick skin feel is gone after a single use. Foot cream absorbs much better than before and can work better now that the dead skin barrier is gone.
Here are the before and after pics of mom's feet -
All of that pokey dry skin is gone and skin appears more smoothened with just a single use!
And here is how you can remove & clean it -
Press the gray button on top of the machine and the roller pops out. You can remove the roller and dust off dead skin powder and can wash in water.
The product comes with a small brush to dust off dead skin powder from the rollers which is very helpful. Not pictured here (my kiddo ran away with it while taking pics and I am yet to find its whereabouts :P)
I got this off Amazon. One of the best purchases I have ever made. Highly recommend to everyone who has dry skin issues in the feet and elbow!
