For me, Emerald has always been the color of royalty. Leatrice Eiseman, executive director of the Pantone Color Institute® calls it "The most abundant hue in nature, the human eye sees more green than any other color in the spectrum." Emerald has been described as “Lively. Radiant. Lush… A color of elegance and beauty that enhances our sense of well-being, balance and harmony" by the Pantone institute."
From Gucci, Vera Wang to Burberry, Many designers had models strutting down the runway clad in head to toe green. Green was a standout color in Michael Kors Spring collection. He says “The vivid palm trees, lawns and golf courses of sunny California inspired the green in my collection.”

There is no need to be afraid of this hue as it flatters most skin tones. So whether its clothes, makeup or accessories, get ready to embrace emerald. Emerald complements roses, pinks, ruby reds, peaches and aubergines. It can easily be paired with blue or citrus tones for a contrasting effect.Wondering how much is too much? Match-much is definitely something you want to avoid when it comes to this color. However, this color can easily be infused into your work or play wardrobe. Here are a few ideas for styling Emerald.
You can bring in the color in the ensemble using a pattern or accessories. The trick is to balance the color palette and create a look to suit your body type.
Green gives me hope that spring is just around the corner. How are you planning to flaunt the color this year?
