Ramadhan 1434 has given a lot of good things to me. I feel that I am so blessed this 2013 because of Ramadhan. I managed to change my lifestyle into a more productive Muslimah this year. I managed to keep myself keen at praying the Qiyam-ul-Layl or the night prayers especially the Tahajjud. I managed to read the Quran, despite my being busy (of course, it is tremendously heartbreaking not being able to finish one whole Quran during Ramadhan). I managed to control my feelings and emotions most especially when my temper goes up like crazy. Alhamdulillaah.
Those were just some things I am happy that I have done and accomplished during Ramadhan. I am looking forward to being able to keep up and do my best during the rest of the year. It saddens me that Ramadhan has to go so swiftly. However, I am more than thankful that it has come not only to change me, but to give me a whole new perspective of what living must be like. Mashaa Allaah.
Today, we celebrate the end of Ramadhan. It makes me weep just by thinking that I have to wait a year for the next Ramadhan. And I am not too sure if I will make it to that point. Astaghfirullaah. However, I pray that all of our deeds and fasts during the last month are accepted. I pray that we all continue what we have already done and accomplished during Ramadhan. I pray that we never go back to the lesser person we were before Ramadhan. Allahumma Amiiin.
Eidl Fitr Al Mubarak, ya akhi, ya ukhti.
Extend my greetings to your family and friends.
Takbir.
