Eggless Chocolate Cake

1 and 1/2 cups All purpose flour(Maida)
3 tbsp Cocoa powder
1 tsp. Baking soda
1/8 tsp. Baking powder
1/4 tsp. Salt
1 cup Granulated Sugar -
1 cup Water
1/2 tbsp Vanilla essence
1 tbsp Lemon juice / White Vinegar
1/4 cup Vegetable Oil

1.Take dry ingredients like flour, baking soda, baking powder and cocoa powder, sift them twice to make sure they evenly spread out.

2.Mix wet ingredients in bowl like sugar, lemon juice, water, oil, vanilla essence. Stir them till sugar dissolves completely.

3.Add flour mixture to the wet ingredients and mix them properly.

4.The batter is runny not thick. If you want to add any dry fruits or tutee fruity or Choco chips, you can add at this stage.

5.Preheat oven to 180 deg c for 10 mins. Grease the pan (I have taken general round shape) with butter and sprinkle Maida on it, it should spread evenly on sides and bottom of the pan also.(Else you can not take cake out easily)

6.Pour batter into pan and bake the Eggless Chocolate Cake for 30-35 minutes, check with fork or toothpick. If toothpick comes out clean, means cake done.

7.Cool cake at least for 10-15 minutes and then invert carefully to take it out from pan. Cut into pieces and serve them.
