Egg Less Choclate Cake

Hope you all had a joyful and safe Diwali.Today I am sharing a long time pending chocolate cake recipe with you all.Rather than calling it a cake,it would be perfect to say this as a cross between cake and brownie.This cake tastes almost like a brownie but on the lighter side.It is very soft,moist and light like a cake but gooey,very chocolaty and rich like a brownie.It was so spongy and soft with an amazing texture.I adapted this recipe from chow times,changed just one ingredient and quantity.Try this cake,unbelievably simple to whip up and tastes great.The 8"inch cake I made vanished in few minutes :)

Star ingredient :All purpose flour,cocoa
Time:10+25 minutes
Yield:14 pieces
Ingredients :
1 1/2 cup all purpose flour/maida
2 tablespoons cocoa powder
3/4 cup sugar
1 tablespoon butter milk
1/4 cup oil
Vanilla bean scrapped
1 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/8 teaspoon salt
Method:
1.Preheat oven at 180C.Grease and dust a 8" cake tin and keep ready.
2.Mix water,salt and sugar in a large bowl and mix well till the sugar is dissolved.Once the sugar is dissolved add oil and butter milk,mix well.

3.Sift all the dry ingredients together and add to the wet mixture.
Egg less choclate cake4.Start mixing and whisk to form a smooth batter.
Egg less choclate cake5.Pour the batter to the prepared tin evenly and tap to release the air.
Egg less choclate cake6.Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes,until done.

1.I replaced the lime juice in the original recipe with butter milk
2.The cake batter will be thin and watery compared to the normal one's.Do not add flour to adjust.
3.This cake has a gooey center,so wait for at least 30 minutes before slicing
