The restaurant was specifically tailored to the event, so it was a great arrangement to be surrounded by lovely fellow bloggers and have a chit chat. The interior was simple and elegant and felt cosy, it's smaller than I had imagined it to be though. The entire menu was catered to Chobani's ingredients, so it was a surprise to have tasted such unique dishes created with yogurts.
To start with: A selection of breads - I only tried the smokey bacon one (far left) as I wanted to try something different! it had a nice light taste of bacon to it, not too overpowering with the butter; just perfect.
This little cup of goodness was refreshing, never tried anything like it to be honest, it was a blend of asparagus and original yogurt, also with a bit of mint I think. lol
Starter: Roasted breast of Palombe Pigeon. With Blueberry Chobani dressing, beetroot puree, candid beetroot and spring onion salad.
I've never tried Pigeon before so it was a great opportunity to do so. The pigeon was cooked well, tasted slightly a bit in comparison to Duck meat however with a gamey texture. The sauce complimented it very well and it was amazing to taste the yogurt improvised into a sauce to go with meat. I could say I would definitely have pigeon again.
Main: Fillet of Beef - With Lemon Chobani marinated herb potatoes & Chobani mushroom sauce.
This has got to be by far the best Fillet of Beef I've ever had! As always I have mines cooked medium - it was juicy, tender and flavoursome especially with the mushroom and original yogurt sauce.
Dessert: Chobani Raspberry Soufflé - With Vanilla Ice-cream
An amazing soufflé! light & fluffy and you could definitely taste the raspberry yogurt in this. Delish!
We were also gifted with a generous goody bag after the event :) Thank you Chobani for hosting such a fab event for us bloggers, it was a great evening with good company, and tasting delicious food. With no doubt we will be experimenting with Chobani yogurts in our home cooking :)
Have you tried Chobani?
