So when I failed at dip dying my hair at Christmas I have always wanted to give it another shot. So today I finally bit the bullet and went for pillerbox red. When I last used Schwarzkopf dye it was rubbish! I hated it check out the review here. So I was a little skeptical but it was only like £4 so I thought it won't do anything that bad. I got it in red as I love the pink and the blue but I didn't want to go to crazy and I wanted something that would compliment my skin tone.I have been lightening my hair slightly using the John Frieda Go Blonder Spray, so this could contribute to how well the color has turned out.To do the dip dye, I separated my hair into 6 sections, I then put the wet hair onto a foil and smothered it in the dye. I then folded up the foil and left it for 30ish minutes. Then all you have to do is wash it off and use the conditioner. The dye was different to the dye I have used before, as it is in one tube, there is no development solution so it's all just in one tube. I think this means you can redo without having to but a new pack. I used up at least 2/3s of the tube to do my hair. I am so happy with the results, it gave a gorgeous bright red colour, in some lights it also looks a little pink and I really love that.
So today I just wanted to clear things up with Schwarzkopf. I kind of feel bad that I had to give them a bad review before but that product was awful quality. But this has really redeemed them as a brand so if you do want to go for a bright color then absolutely try their newest range.
Pics will be up soon but I am on holiday so you'll just have to wait :)Thank you, see you soon.
