Today’s outfit is the third featuring my khaki skinnies from River Island. Have a look at the first and second too. So far I’ve styled them as if on safari and with a slightly rock chick feel so today I thought I’d make them a little more feminine. I wore this relaxed taupe tee I bought in the same River Island haul, and then girlified it with this cute rose-print scarf I picked up from Tesco. They usually have a really good selection of scarves, so I have a few little treasures from there. This scarf was perfect as the pink matched my shoes, the neutral background my tee and the green my trousers – I was coordinated to the max! Again, as is becoming the standard with these trousers I wore my moccasins. I think this is a good casual work outfit, it kept me cool on this humid day, is appropriately covered and not too scruffy, don’t you agree?
I am actually loving the challenge I’ve set myself of making more of my wardrobe – I am really happy with the three outfits I made from these trousers and I’m sure I can do more wonders with them yet so keep your eyes peeled for future posts. I’m also proud of myself as so far this week I haven’t even been tempted to buy anything new! I’m hoping I can keep this up.
