When it comes to bad weather here in L.A, there’s nothing more that I love, then catching a good movie, and chowing down on some good ol’ fashion popcorn.
This past week, I had the opportunity to catch Dumb & Dumber To, which just came out last Friday, November 14th, and it actually is in theaters RIGHT NOW, so you should probably go!
I’ve always been a fan of the first Dumb & Dumber movie, but between the few years of Dumb & Dumber To being ready to be released, I started having a blank mind of what had happened in the first movie.
Dumb & Dumber To stars Jim Carrey, as Lloyd Christmas and Jeff Daniels as Harry Dunne, as well as other characters starring Rachel Melvin, Steve Tom, and Laurie Holden.
I’m not going to ruin, or spoil the movie for the better, but for just a little hint, the story line starts out a little something like this….
Harry Dunn { Jeff Daniels }, has found something out after about 20 years, that he actually has a daughter, and although he vaguely remembers how having a daughter happened, he ends up telling Lloyd that he immediately needs a kidney replacement.
With the only option being his daughter as a kidney donor, Lloyd & Harry go on this state to state adventure of trying to track Harrys daughter down, well she is at a school conference.
Now, you can probably just imagine what happens well the two of them venture off together on the road, but i’ll leave it to you to figure out the rest.
What did I think of the movie?
When I first heard about it, I actually felt like the movie was going to be very predictable, but I was obviously so wrong.
I thought that this movie was about ten times better then the first one, and actually had a way better story line.
Would I see this movie again?
YES, because it is such a good laugh, and oh wait, i’m going to see it this weekend {again}, and no I am not ashamed.
In all seriousness though, if you want a good laugh, whether it’s on a good or bad day, I would highly recommend going to see this movie.
