Happy Monday! This weekend was pretty busy for me. There was a dinner hosted by the Youth group i am a part of and i needed a quick fix for makeup! I had forgotten my makeup bag at home and the only thing I could think of was to run to the nearest drug store and pick up some makeup. I was kinda lazy and didnt feel like wearing foundation so i grabbed a sheer tinted moisturizer, a lipstick and a super duper handy cream eyeshadow. For the items I had never tried before I decided to review them
The first item is the Maybelline Color Tattoo Eyeshadow. This item is super handy as I can put it on even without a brush (hence my fingerprint in the product..). It comes in a sleek small pot full of product! I went with a pink color which I absolutely adore.
With just one swipe I got tons of color on my finger and it looked great on my eyes. I have to say well done maybelline, round of applause for you. The consitency is great, it doesnt melt and stays on long. What more could one ask for?!?!
Next is the rimmel london lipstick
This lipstick is great as well. The color is highly pigmented and lasts long. It comes in a CUTE purple container (ahh purple!!), which is the perfect size for a purse. My only complaint is that the product seems to dry up on my lips which is kinda weird. I suppose if i coat my lips with a lipbalm first this problem wouldnt occur! Anyways here are some swatches,
