Drape Blouse and Printed Pants

I am a control freak and a borderline OCD, just so you know and in case you didn't already know that about me. I like things to be in order and everything in our home has a place. My daughter has only recently started to understand that Mimi (yeah, that's what she calls me) has a place for everything and Mimi gets upset when she sees a mess.

So these days taking after me, she will place things where she likes them and then get upset if anyone moves them. If she wants a vase to be placed somewhere, she will place it and then be pleased with the result. Talk about genes! Not sure, I like myself all that much any more.

Talking about today's outfit, I styled these floral print pants last fall and decided it was time for them to come out of the closet again. I am wearing them with a drape blouse and suede pumps. I have accessorized the outfit with a mini bag and a crystal necklace.

I find the print on these pants being a statement maker in itself which is why I try to pair them with neutral accessories. Since it is spring, it made sense to go for a bright colored top to balance out the black and white print.
