Dr. Malhotra: Why It Is Wrong to Link Saturated Fat to Heart Disease

Telling people to reduce their intake of saturated fat in order to lower the risk of heart disease is a failed strategy. It's a useless distraction from more promising strategies.

But there is a better way according to Dr. Aseem Malhotra, who was interviewed at Sky News recently (video above). A focus on lifestyle interventions such as stress reduction, movement and a lower-carb diet featuring plenty of nuts and olive oil could have much greater preventative powers than cholesterol-lowering drugs.
