Decleor Paris, a brand where some know it for it’s luxury spas while others know it for it’s high end products.
Today, I’m going to present to you one of their high end products from the Aroma Purete line, the Matt Finish Skin Fluid
Decleor Paris’ Matt Finish Skin Fluid is a moisturiser which helps matify and hydrates ones’ face at the same time. It states to be suited for both combination and oily skin type.
My Verdict -
Scented with Ylang Ylang essential oils, I simply adore the sweet, flowery aura that the moisturiser produced. Upon application, one can feel the smooth powdery texture both in theproduct and on the user’s skin. This gives the user 100% reassurance and reminder of the product’s purposes.
As stated in the above paragraph, this product’s main purpose is to mattify one’s face. That means, oil-control and I’ve got say it does oil control real good. It looked and felt like I have put a layer of mattifying finishing powder on my face. Nothing was oily. Nothing was shiny. I was photo ready.
However, this feature was not all good. For people with combination skin of oily and dry like mine, you may feel that this product is simply too much. My oily T-zone was very matt and comfortable for the first hour or so. As the hours pass, my T-Zone started to turn oily and we are back at Square One. While for my dry U-Zone, it was just hell. In a matter of minutes after application, tightening of the skin could be felt throughout my cheeks and slight itchiness was form. The good thing from all this is, these conditions could be ignore with no other treacherous reactions.
That said, I would give Decleor Paris, Aroma Purete - Matt Finish Skin Fluid 2 IreviewUread smiles. It have an amazing scent and is quite mattifying for oily skin but it’s just a bummer for combination skin. Dry skin types should definitely steer clear of this.
