Some time back, I received this sample from the Decleor Masque Ball. Put of the three I was given I managed to test out one. Thus today I’m going to review Decleor Paris, Aroma Purete, 2 in 1 Purifying & Oxygenating Mask.
Basically, the Decleor Paris’s 2 in 1 Purifying & Oxygenating Mask exfoliates and restore the radiance to one’s skin at the same time.
To use this, all you have to do is:
- Cleanse your face
- Apply Mask evenly
- Leave it for 10 minutes
- After 10 minutes, dampen the mask and massage the mask in a circular movement
- Rinse off
Overall, I like the concept on how this 2 in 1 mask works for it saves the trouble for one having to exfoliate as one step and masking as another step*.
*Most of the time I would do these on alternate days for I am afraid that some mask’s essence may be too harsh for my open pores and irritate my skin. If you like to exfoliate and mask on the same day, it’s possible. However, it would be advisable to use a mask which are not as harsh such as, hydrating masks.
Upon application, one can smell the refreshing Jasmine aroma coming from the mask. I felt that it was rather easy to spread despite having the seeds in the mask.Considering that the 2 in 1 Purifying & Oxygenating Mask looks like a clay mask, it was rather thin and watery.
After 10 minutes, I massaged the mask into my face and rinsed it. I’ve got to say, I am very pleased with the outcome.
Subsequent to washing off the mask, I can see visible changes to my pores. It did not have a huge shrinkage as stated but it did clear my pores thoroughly. I guessed with the lack of dirt in my pores, my pores did shrink.
What amazes me is that my skin have this matte and velvet smooth effect thereafter. It’s like all the unholy bumps which were originally there, managed to smoothen itself out after using this mask!
What the mask was lacking was it’s radiance factor. I personally feel that the radiance factor is not as gleaming. I guessed, it’s matte factor does play a part in de-shimmering the skin.
All in all, I would give Decleor Paris, Aroma Purete - 2 in 1 Purifying & Oxygenating Mask 4 and a half IreviewUread smiles. Not only does the 2 in 1 Purifying & Oxygenating Mask gives out a sweet Jasmine scent, throughout the relaxing masking time, the scent still linger after. On top of that, the smooth velvet effect which it gives my skin was definitely unforgettable plus it help clean out my pores!
Would I get this again? To get that smooth velvet effect again, sure! However, for the radiance factor, not so much.
