Summers are back with a vengeance and its crazy hot everywhere with temperature soaring more than 40 degrees. Putting on makeup has become a task with the need of the hour being lightweight yet longstaying, sweat-proof products!
I am totally not liking all those medium-full coverage foundations and sticking to only bare minimum coverage and minimal products on the face. This is the time when all those tinted moisturizers, BB and CC creams come to our rescue!
One such great find of a light base makeup product for me is Deborah Milano 5 in 1 BB Cream.
DEBORAH MILANO 5 IN 1 BB CREAM
PRICE - INR 625
AVAILABILITY - Online shopping portals or Deborah Milano counters
The product comes in a sleek black tube with a screw on cap. It claims to "Prime, Correct, Uniform, Moisturize & Protect" the skin.
The BB cream is a runny lotion and comes in 5 shades (01 Fair, 02 Beige, 03 Sand, 04 Apricot, 05 Amber). It also has SPF20 for added sun protection. Shade I have is 04 Apricot.
The product being runny it always spills over on to the cap and its neck. I would not advise to keep this tube standing upright on the cap for the same reason. Not only does it gets messy, but also the product oozes out like crazy when opened leading to wastage.
It glides easily on well moisturized skin and offers light coverage. It settles to a dewy finish, something that I love. A matte finish is a no-no to me even in summers owing to my dry skin - it tends to look patchy and flat with time!
It imparts an even tone to the skin and one would need atleast 2 rounds of application on the face to achieve that. I don't feel the need to top up my face with some compact or translucent powder whenever I use this.
It feels totally lightweight on the skin. No breakouts or skin irritation.
04 Apricot is a perfect match for me and stays put on me throughout office hours. It has an orangey-pink tint to it that doesn't clash with my skin tone, but blends well. It does not oxidise or give a white cast though it has some sun protection to offer.
A tube would last about 2 months if used daily. At 625, its definitely pricey for a BB cream, but the luminous finish, light weight factor, long stay ability and SPF20 all makeup for it! This is probably the only BB cream I liked apart from Lakme CC Cream.
I wish this product was priced somewhere at 400 price range making it more apt for a BB cream. Only 5 shades to choose from could be a challenge for some!
