Crackled Easter Eggs

Easter is approaching, so are chocolate eggs! Here is an original and easy way to serve colorful eggs!

Dying eggs is a fan things to do over Easter, I've always had fun with it and if you are afraid of not being crafty enough, well, don't panic! This technique is a very easy, if I could do it, you surely can too

Ingredients:

  • 12 uncooked white eggs
  • white vinegar
  • gel food coloring

Hard boil eggs then let them cool completely. In separate bowls combine 3 cups of water, 1 tbsp of white vinegar and 1 tablespoon of food coloring (one color per bowl). Using the back of a spoon, carefully tap eggs all over so that the shells are cracked. Dip up the eggs, dividing them in each bowl

Dye them at least 1 hour, better overnight. Carefully drain the eggs from the colorful water and dry them with a paper towel

Go crazy with the colors, maybe combine 2 or 3 together to get funny effects.

This is also a great activity to do with your kids!
