I’ve never seen Nail Lacquers done by Crabtree & Evelyn before so naturally I was very interested – unfortunately, there were no testers so I can’t vouch for the quality but the colours sure looked stunning, Wisteria, in particular (a cornflower blue with pronounced silver shimmer)
The other set which is of fantastic value is the Evelyn Rose Duo – my girlfriends carted these home and with all their raving, I’m very tempted too (but my stash of shower products is already massive so I’ll think a little more – till next week!). Evelyn Rose has a much more nuanced fragrance than Crabtree & Evelyn’s Rosewater fragrance (which is already beautiful on its own). The Evelyn Rose Shower Gel retails at S$53 and the Body Lotion retails at S$58 – the promotional duo retails at S$88 (which is a S$23 saving).
The other great savings is on the Scented Drawer Liners – I use these in my saree and ethnic wear cupboards and my favorite is the ones in Rosewater. I usually cringe a little at the price of S$45 but I find it worth it for the silks and chiffons.
If you’re looking for tasty treats for yourself, your guests or your hosts for the festive season, the biscuits from Crabtree & Evelyn are the way to go – I love the All Butter & Almond ones the best. I’ve hidden one canister away, saving it for the Lunar New Year break!
Here’s what I purchased from Crabtree & Evelyn – the Triple Treat Biscuit Set is a must-have, while the seasonal Christmas Pudding biscuits are another fave (this one too has been stashed away!)
I also picked up 2 room fragrances in Nantucket Briar and Summer Hill – the latter being my all-time favorite fragrance from Crabtree & Evelyn. This also deodorises – Mom fried fish last week and the whole house smelt a little like Fish & Co – Summer Hill wiped out the smell in a few minutes.
Apart from the “One-For-One” voucher that can be utilised on bath & body products, Crabtree & Evelyn is currently running a GWP of cosmetic pouches and totes in cheery colours.
