We all admit it at some point, but us girls always have WAY too many clothes in our own closet. You might as well just admit it already. I’ll even break my silence and say that to this day, I still say “I have nothing to wear!“, when in reality, I have too much to wear, and my closet is still currently over-flowing as I type out this very blog post.
Yes, we’ve all been down that road.
Well, about a week ago, I was actually completely surprised and excited when I learned about “CottonBin“. I even loved the name { Cotton.Bin }.
What is CottonBin you might ask?
CottonBin is an option of getting rid of getting rid of unwanted clothes that maybe have never seemed to work in your favor. That sounds like the majority of us girls, right? They are a hassle-free online service that allows you to easily swap items in your closet for new and gently worn designer clothing in their store that have been swapped by others.
Also, within days of signing up with CottonBin, you receive your very own starter kit which always includes a bag and pre-paid shipping label. You then, fill the bag up with all of your unwanted clothes and send it back to them. Once they receive your clothes, they will award points for each item that you send in, and those points can be exchanged for new brand name/designer clothes. This is totally right down my alley, and that is why when I heard about CottonBin, I was estatic.
I remember when I was 17 years old, I always, always, use to take my un-wanted, over-worn clothes to what was known at the time as “Platos Closet”, and for a pair of $200 jeans, I would only get $20 for them? Total waste if you ask me.
CottonBin is the ultimate save.
