Cool Things I Found on the Internet [June 15]

If you've been following along for a while, you know that I'm fairly open about my internet obsessions. From stalking the 'crewfies' of these ridiculously good looking make cabin crews to video shopping online, I'm quite confident to declare that I have an eye for spotting all things smile-inducing and eye-pleasing on the world wide web. To justify the (outrageous) amount of time I spent on this fave pastime, I decided to turn it into a productive part of my blogging and share the cool things I found on the Internet here with you all as a monthly feature! To kick start this spanking new feature with a bang, here're some of my greatest finds of all time. From LOL-worthy cat video compilations to awe-inducing picturesque destinations to fuel your wanderlust, you're in for a real treat!

1. Bizarre dog grooming

We probably all know how much the Japanese are obsessed with things that are immaculately shaped and come in clean lines - just look at their bonsai gardens and those ridiculously neat queues at the train stations. The craze has been taken to the next level with people grooming their pet pooch into clean-cut looks of either cubes or perfect spheres. Do our best canine friends actually enjoy this bizzare makeover? Watch the video and decide it for yourself. I think they seem rather proud of their on-trend new look. #SWAG.

To fuel your wanderlust and arouse your adventurous soul, Land Rover has transformed the beautiful beachfront at Red Wharf Bay in UK to a gigantic sand art project that is beyond mind-blowing.

Now I'm totally tempted to do my own Mythbuster style experiment with my friend's Land Rover Discovery Sport up on the Fraser Island or Stradbroke Island in my home state!

3. Cats being jerks

Let's face it, it's not anything surprising to see headlines that say cats are jerks. But this recent 'cats fail' compilation has done another round of massive damage to our feline friends' reputation. From attacking you for no reasons to spilling your fave glass of whiskey like it's no one's business, these scenes aren't that pretty - eek!

Sorry my fellow feline lovers, in seeing how dogs pleased everyone with their perfectly groomed hedges that induced so many LOLs, it's a clear dog-1 cat-0 situation - UH OH. However I do seriously think this is a propaganda video put together by a dog's PR agency. That makes me so flipping excited to see how the next round of 'cats versus dogs' PR games unfold!

4. The girl who owns Eiffel Tower

Every girl who has a Parisian dream wants to own a piece of Eiffel Tower. And this is exactly how you can own one! OMG - right? I found a high end version of this Eiffel Tower bag which costs $2,750 created by the New York based designer Timmy Woods - adorned with 6,300 Swarovski crystals this bag is for sure to light up any city's skyline.

5. Rare vintage Chanel necklace

Just when we're talking about every Francophile girl's dream... oh la la! Jaw dropped to the floor seeing this vintage Chanel necklace with two adorable charms of a sun hat and a classic Chanel 2.55. Among my visits to the Parisian vintage stores that sell vintage Chanel, this is truly one of the rarest collection piece for ladies who adore Chanel. I could totally see myself wearing this with a whitee straw wide brimmed hat to the French Open!

6. Takachiho Gorge in Miyazaki, Japan

If mermaids exist, this is where you'll find them frolicking in the crystal clear turquoise water...

7. Wood shelf to house your crystal collections

LOVE! A very clever and stylish way to display your treasured collections of gem stones and crystals, you can buy this wood shelf at this Etsy store or it can inspire your next weekend DIY project.

8. Mermaid evening gown

Here's another whimsical find from my never-ending fantasy with mermaids. Gracefully designed with flowy fish tail and glittery scales - this looks exactly like a real-life version of the dress I used to own in my mermaid's playhouse.
