Control Acne Breakouts with Acne Free Diet Plan

Acne basically affects the outer layer of the skin which is called epidermis. It is triggered by over production of sebum, which is in fact a natural lubricant. The issue is caused when the sebum binds with the keratin and blocks pores and thus gives rise to inflammation.

Plan your meal:

Breakfast:

Breakfast is the most important meal of the day and if you wish to get glowing skin than you better don’t skip your breakfast. Breakfast contributes in keeping your skin healthy as it is this meal that is absorbed in the body completely. To ensure your acne destruction mission is accomplished, make sure your breakfast comprises of a complete meal with all essential nutrients. Let it comprise largely of proteins, as Protein has to be consumed for breakfast and this will ensure that you are avoiding a glycemic response from your meal. You can include eggs, beans, vegetables, nuts etc too.

Lunch:

Include salmon at your lunch time, as it is very high in protein and also essential fatty acids. Besides that it contains DMAE, which is responsible in increasing skin health, toning as well as its radiance. Include lots of green leafy vegetables, beans, chicken salad or fish etc.

Snacks:

For snacks you can consume Brazil nuts, turkey breast, cherry tomatoes, almonds, Salad with yogurt. You can even opt for flaxseed salad with cottage cheese, pumpkin seeds and apple. Salad comprising of yogurt, pomegranate and pumpkin seeds is also a wonderful option.

Dinner:

Dinner should not be heavy as that will affect the digestion process. You can have fruits of different combination, roasted chicken breast or grilled fish. Salad of romaine lettuce, avocado, and tomato is also great.
There are certain foods that you must include in your daily diet which will help you eliminate acne and they are as follows:

A. Spinach:

Green leafy vegetables as discussed are wonder foods for blemish free skin. Spinach in particular is very good for skin as it is an excellent source of iron and zinc.

B. Zinc:

Zinc is very good to work against acne and it can be found in eggs as well as mushrooms.

C. Carrot:

Carrots are great source of vitamin and it is essential for a healthy skin diet. It contains biotin, vitamins K, C. part from that it has B6, potassium and thiamine, which are very much essential to maintain the skin and keep it healthy.

D. Sunflower seeds:

Sprinkle your cereals with sunflower seeds as they are rich source of vitamin E. Vitamin E is a powerful antioxidant and other than that it is very useful in treating scars and blemishes.

E. Grains and nuts:

Include lots of grains and nuts in your diet on daily basis. They provide your body magnesium which is very essential for skin. It will help you kick start your healthy skin regime in the start of the day and pack an impressive energy punch to take you through the day.

F. Olive and sesame oil:

Both these oils happen to be an excellent source of fatty acids that nourishes the skin and keeps acne at bay.

Food to avoid: People with acne should avid certain foods to prevent acne and they are junk food, refined food, sugar, oily food, deep fried snacks, pastries, cake etc. These will easily contribute towards acne formation.
