What a proud moment for Singapore. Yesterday, Dinah Chan won Gold in the 30km Time Trial at the SEA Games, with a time of 46minutes 30.125 seconds. That’s an average speed of 38.708km/h!

It was a fantastic comeback and recovery from Dinah, who was hit while cycling at East Coast Park Service Road three months ago.
You can follow Dinah on her Twitter, Facebook, and blog.
With her win, hopefully it will encourage the Singapore Cycling Federation as well as the Singapore Sports Council to support and groom more cycling talent for future competitions. With Singapore hosting the 2015 SEA Games and cycling already included as one of the events, it would be a good opportunity for Singapore athletes to shine, not only at road cycling but also at (possibly) Cross Country, Downhill and BMX.
