New cookies recipe! For those of you that like me have a deep love relationship with cookies- of any kind and any shape- well, you guys might want to try this recipe for condensed milk cookies.
This is the type of recipe where all the ingredients are thrown into the mixer together, which makes things easy and quick!
Give this a try
Ingredients (makes 16 cookies):
- 125 gr all purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 75 g unsalted butter
- 85 gr condensed milk
- 1 tbsp. whole fat milk
In a bowl of your electric mixer combine flour, salt, baking powder
Open up a can of condensed milk
and add it to the dry ingredients together with the vanilla extract and the butter cut into small cubes
With your mixer on low, mix all the ingredients together until combined
Wrap up the batter into plastic paper and refrigerate for at least 1 hour
Slice out 5 mm thick circles,
brush them lightly with the whole fat milk
and bake the cookies in pre-heated oven (200 C) for about 10-12 min
Remove from the oven and let them cool down on a wire rack before storing them
Enjoy!
