I have recently just started wearing liquid matte lipsticks, I know I’m extremely late. I was against them for so long as I just thought that they would never look flattering on my lips. As my first foray into the liquid matte lipstick craze I decided to start slow and purchase some of the Colourpop Ultra Matte Lip liquid lipsticks. They are the most affordable liquid mattes out there that are cruelty-free and vegan.
Colourpop Autocorrect
Autocorrect is a gorgeous yellow-brown nude color. I am always on the lookout for a good warm nude color for my darker skin and this is almost close to perfect. I do use a brown lip liner over top of it so my lips don't look to pale. Autocorrect has been my favorite lip color as of late and if you head over to my instagram you'll see it in action in most of my full face looks.
Colourpop Speed Dial
The second color I purchased is one of their most popular shades. Most of the swatches I saw online were on light to light-medium skintones and it comes out as more neutral-orange but on my it's more vibrant which is interesting. I've tried wearing orange lipstick before with no success, but I think because of a deeper tone It looks less scary than bright neon oranges I've tried in the past. I see why so many people love this shade.
