Studs & Spikes have, for a long time, been considered embellishments of the punk order. This is a trend that easily amalgamates femininity with toughness & class with edge. The clutch is pretty spacious and pretty much everything that goes into your everyday bag can fit in this clutch. For today's post, I am wearing a mint peplum top with an electric blue dress (worn as skirt here) for a color block effect. Now, I rarely play around with color but this is a combination, I could not resist. The addition of apricot colored clutch and shoes balance out the color block effect here.
When color blocking, Remember to:
- Go with Contrasting & Complementary colors on the color wheel but limit this to 3 colors in an outfit. - Go with colors that suit your skin tone and body type. Use brighter colors for the areas you would like to highlight and stick to neutral/dark colors for areas you want to conceal. - Use neutrals to bring together an outfit. For example, if you were wearing a bright blazer and contrasting pants, use a white tee to put it together.
