Posted on the 30 July 2011 by Classycareergirl @classycareer
Hello friends!!  In case you missed all of the fun things happening here this month, I wanted to do a quick recap because I am so excited and just can't contain it.  Thank you for all of your tweets, comments and encouragement.  Here's what has been going on:
  • I came out this month in this post!  Yes, it is official!  Hi!  My name is Anna Runyan and I am a real career girl.   After a year of being an anonymous blogger, I just couldn't take it any longer and wanted the world to know who I am!  Hello, nice to meet you!! :)  I am 29, married and work at a consulting company in San Diego, CA.  Want to know more?  Just ask!
Classy Career Girl's July Recap: Stay in the loop!
  • I was HONORED to write about my 4 X 4 networking challenge at the Brazen Careerist blog this month.  You can read the post here.  And if that wasn't good enough, Keith Ferrazzi tweeted about my challenge!  Keith is the world’s foremost expert in professional relationship development.  He is also the author of Never Eat Alone which is the book that actually encouraged me to START this networking challenge.  So let's just say that this was a great month and I am so excited to continue networking!  Who knows who I will meet next month?
  • This month, I started coaching other young professionals (after the day job of course!) to find fulfilling careers that they are passionate about. So fun and I can't wait to help others!
  • I finished my draft free eBook, The 7 Keys to Career Success, Happiness and Balance for Young Professionals that I can't wait to give to all of my favorite readers (you!).  I spent a few days reviewing every post on my blog and compiling the best information into one place.  I have been getting when it will be ready (thanks for the encouragement!) and I think mid-August? Stay tuned!
  • I got the MacBook Air!  Woohoo! But, what does this mean for you?  Soon to come you will see videos and podcasts with more great career, personal development, organization and career girl life advice just for you!
Thank you so much for being part of this journey.  I love connecting with all of you and seriously, learn as much from you as you learn from me.  So thank you for reading, commenting and tweeting and stay tuned for more one of kind career advice from this classy career girl.
HAVE A FABULOUS WEEKEND!
Anna Runyan
