Clarins Palette Eclat Face & Blush Powder

This is something that featured in one of my recent Lust List’s and I am so happy that I treated myself to it and here’s why…

This limited edition palette from Clarins was released to celebrate spring and just looking at it makes me feel happier as it is so beautiful. Set in a delicious golden palette is housed a trio of fresh, complexion boosting shades of light tan, peach and pink embossed with the Iris flower. It is a matte powder but don’t let that fool you, this is a glow booster in its most natural form.

Whilst also looking good, it has a lot of technology behind it. It claims to have light diffusing properties that make skin look fresher, younger and more luminous by hiding fine lines, dull skin and minor imperfections. It also has plant extracts in it to help boost hydration and skin comfort.

Quite impressive non?

All that aside, it is an amazing palette. The texture of the product is weightless, almost like silk. You can’t even feel it on the skin and although it is a very subtle flush of color it just adds something extra to your skin. Of course you could build it up for a more intense flush, but this palette is about subtle, fresh spring beauty which means a light hand is best when applying this.

It isn’t cheap but it looks like it will last forever (if you can bring yourself to destroy that gorgeous palette) and it really makes you feel special when you wearit.

I use it everyday for a touch of color and to add warmth to my face, it is perfect for paler skinned girls but would work just as well on those who have a tan.
