Ciate Advent Calendar - Door 8, Mistress

Mistress is another bright red shade, which, as I've mentioned, I'm not a huge fan of. The difference between Mistress and Dangerous Affair (Door 2 - see here) is that today's shade is a much more orange toned red. The kind of classic red you'd associate with Cruella De' Vil, if you will.

So, I was quite glad that this shade popped up on a Sunday, when no one really has to see it (harsh, I know).
However, I then turned it into probably the most creative thing I've ever done with my nails (excluding my attempt at Caviar Nails from Door 4 - see here) and I was pretty pleased with myself. So much so that I am now really disappointed that Mistress popped up on a Sunday!
This is not a shade I would have picked up in a million years, but I'm so happy that the Ciate Advent Calendar has enabled me to own it - I think I may have found my Christmas Day nails look!
Anyone who has ever done anything creative with their nails will not be impressed with this - I am a complete beginner and have never attempted anything like this before. In the past my nails have been one colour and one colour only depending on which shade I have chosen.
