“I once was lost, but now am found, I once was lost, but now am found, I once was blind but You touched me, I once was blind but now I see…and now my lifesong sings…”  –Casting Crowns

It was that song around 3 years ago that gripped me from a video my cousin, Paolo, edited of the Walkway activity.  The melody has forever been in my heart as far as I can remember since the CS’ Walkway Stations of the Cross installation began.  The young people of Church Simplified, a Christian church, put faith into practice by providing an installation per station coupled with an activity that aids in reflecting inwardly and Spiritually.

This is my Dad at the 7th Station carrying what represents an actual cross during the time of Jesus.  There’s no self-mutilation involved because God wouldn’t want that, we are not worthy of penance, this was only an activity in order to understand the weight that Jesus carried.  Yesterday was Palm Sunday, Holy Week has officially begun.  We bought a couple of shirts from the booth at the end, and the lovely Patty Laurel of Da Patty Laurel Blog assisted me when I paid for my shirts plus a lovely  music CD of  compiled music by different CS supporters like Julianne, Paolo V., Jay Enrile, Jay Durias and more.

It doesn’t matter who you are, where you’re at, or what you’ve done, the opportunity to walk with Christ and open your heart is there for everyone.  The stations outline step by step the path that Jesus took to resurrect the broken, the lost, the kidnapped, and the abused.  If you’re interested to participate or even just see the Stations of the Cross exhibit, head on over to Bonifacio High Street at Fort.  The first station is nearby Fully Booked.  For more information check out Church Simplified.
