Chobani Yogurt*

By Prettyandtasty1 @prettyandtasty
Do you strive for a healthier diet? Or are always on a lookout for fat-free foods? I wouldn't particularly say I'm fussy when picking out what to eat :P as long as it tastes good! A few weeks ago, the lovely people at Chobani sent us their quality yogurts to sample; having never tried their products it was very intriguing as they are highly recognised in America for being the number one selling yogurt brand.
Chobani is all about naturally sourced ingredients, fat free, gluten free and over 95% lactose free. - sounds pretty good for the body! Within their range it consists of six flavours - Strawberry, Peach, Black Cherry, Pomegranate and Plain. Chobani uses a specific  straining process to achieve a rich and creamy yogurt, in addition with a layered amount of real fruit at the bottom of the pot.

Chobani Yogurt* The first flavor which I tried was Blood Orange. My first impression was that it had a very thick consistency like Greek Yogurt. As soon as you start mixing the fruit at the bottom with the yogurt, it combined into a smooth and creamy, silk texture. It did infact taste slightly sour but not too sweet, however the fruits in this was greatly overpowering with a fresh scent, taste and bits of real fruit! To add, I've recently had the Pomegranate one and I love this flavour! I've never actually had a Pomegranate flavor yogurt before nor Blood Orange so it's great to see these flavours in Chobani's range :) What's even better is that you could use these yogurts to substitute for ingredients in your cooking recipes. Such as : - sour cream, oil, butter, mayonnaise, creamcheese and buttermilk. I'm looking forward to trying these yogurts with cereal or granola! Thank you for your generosity Chobani, we enjoyed them very much :) Let me know if any of you healthy foodies have tried this!?  Angela xo
