Etude House, a well renown Korean brand which cater products from skincare to nail care to makeup. Today we are going to touch on of their odd looking lip care products, the Cherry Lip Gel Patch.
Basically the Cherry Lip Gel Patch’s function is for one to help keep their lips hydrated and soft.
To use this product, you just have to apply it over on your lips for 15 minutes and then remove it. I’ve got to say it’s more like a jelly lip mask.
Time for my thoughts on the Cherry Lip Gel Patch:
As expected from it’s name, the Cherry Lip Gel Patch have a rather strong Cherry scent. That factor actually aroused my temptation to have a bite out of the mask. I mean look at it, it’s a Cherry flavoured jelly on top of your mouth. Why not?
Please do not eat your mask. It’s not edible. Don’t poison yourself.
Ok jokes aside, after applying the cooling gel mask for 15 minutes to half an hour, I removed it to find the sides of my lips which were badly dried up starting to heal. The mask indeed help in hydrating dry and cracked lips. Aside from just hydration, the Cherry Lip Gel Patch also help in keeping my lips soft and bouncy.
However the soft moisturizing effect will fade away rather quickly. The wrinkle lines on the lips are still visible. If you apply the mask for too long, one will have the slight spicy and stinging after effect. Thus try to keep it within the 15 - 30 minutes range.
Overall, I would give it 3 IreviewUread smiles. It is fun to look silly with this Ronald McDonald’s lips plastered on your face for a while but, the effects are not as long lasting as one would have want it to be.
