Ingredients:
- 4 toasted whole wheat bread slices, cut into half
- 1/2 cup boiled sweet corn kernels (makai ke dane)
- 4 tablespoon grated processed cheese
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1/4 cup finely chopped onions
- 3 teaspoon corn flour
- 1/4 cup milk
- 2 tablespoons finely chopped capsicum
- 1/2 teaspoon dried mixed herbs
- 1/4 teaspoon mustard (rai / sarson) powder
- Salt to taste
Method:
- Heat the butter in a broad pan; add the onions and sauté on a medium flame for 2 minutes.
- Add the corn flour and cook on a medium flame for few seconds.
- Add the milk and cook on a medium flame for 2 minutes or till the sauce thickens, while stirring continuously.
- Add the capsicum and mixed herbs, cheese and mix well and cook on a medium flame for a minute.
- Add the mustard powder, salt and corn cook on a medium flame for 2 minutes, while stirring continuously.
- Spread the cheese topping evenly on toasted bread.
- Serve immediately.
