Good Morning! It has been awhile since I have posted a new recipe up here. I have been a bit preoccupied and just have had no inspiration. However, last night I was making dinner and thought hey I should make biscuits. I didn't wanna roll out so I decided to do a drop biscuit. I had half a bag of sharp cheddar cheese I needed to use. So I created this drop biscuit recipe. It has sour cream, cheese, dill, garlic and cheddar jack cheese. They are easy and no rolling out.
Drop Biscuits
2 Cups of Flour1 T Baking Powder1 Tsp Salt1/3 C Butter cut small1 Cup Cheddar Jack Shredded1/4 C Sour Cream2 Tsp Parsley2 Tsp Dill1 Tsp Garlic Sea Salt1 C Milk
In a bowl combine your flour, baking powder, salt and mix. Add your chopped butter and cut into pebbles with a pastry cutter or a kitchen aid mixer. Add your sour cream, milk and mix it up. Add your cheddar and herb mixture. Mix again till all combined. Now take a spoon and drop them onto a cookie sheet. Bake at 350 till they start to turn golden. Start at 20 minutes. Just make sure to keep an eye on them. Take them out and enjoy!!!
