If it’s any kind-of dessert that I have a sweet tooth for, it has always been cupcakes.
If you’ve had the chance to visit Los Angeles before, or Southern California in general, i’m sure that you are aware of the numerous cupcake shops around the state.
From Sprinkles Cupcakes to Georgetown Cupcakes to Crumbs Bakery, I have a new appreciation for “Casey’s Cupcakes“.
A few weekends ago, one of my best friends and I decided to get away from the city for a bit, and we traveled down to Orange County, ending up in Newport Beach.
If you are ever in Newport Beach, by the way, you must take time out of your day to visit “Fashion Island”, an outdoor shopping plaza consisting of all of the shops and stores that you could ever dream of.
For tasting “Casey’s Cupcakes” for the first time, as I had the “Peanut Butter Pizzaz“, literally nothing has hit my mouth so sweeter, and so much filled with deliciousness.

The owner and founder Casey Reinhardt was the winner of The Food Network’s “Cupcake Wars”, and she continues to build Casey’s Cupcakes all over Southern California.
