Caltech Surveys is a Land Surveying company that works primarily in the oil & gas industry. Part of our business is to ensure our clients meet the regulatory requirements for digital and paper survey plans. These plans are created from field data using the latest data collection and CAD technologies. Our production drafting staff have become experts at this.
Based out of our Calgary office you would be a part of a team that develops and prepares drafting of well sites, pipeline right of ways, individual ownership plans, crossings and legal surveys using CAD technology. Experience in Saskatchewan or Manitoba is an asset. Remote workers will be considered.
We are looking for experienced candidates, with 1-2 years experience, as well as the following qualifications:
-Diploma in Geomatics Technology, or equivalent
-Working knowledge of AutoCAD 2010 -Working knowledge of MicroSurvey co-ordinate calculation software
-Experience with survey drawings for the petroleum industry
-A strong team player that is able to work within tight deadlines
-Excellent written, oral, and organizational skills -A great attitude and a desire to excel
