By Terry Touché Veloutée is a product which has been on my radar for quite some time. My sister went through a few of these in her teenage years, so I was aware of it and that she loved it, but for some reason I never got around to trying it myself until not so long ago.
By Terry is a fantastic brand, stocked by Space NK. It was created by the genius mind of Terry de Gunzburg, who developed another cult product - Touché Éclat for YSL. I was a Touché Éclat devotee for many years, so why I've never tried the equivalent, much improved upon formula, from By Terry I cannot explain!
Anyhow, I've finally got my act together, and am now the delighted owner of a tube of this highlighting, concealing beauty.
I was, at first a little daunted by the large brush on this. I'm used to using the much daintier Touché Éclat brush or doe-foot applicator of my Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer. However, this us actually an advantage, a should-be-emphasised feature of this product.
The larger brush on Touché Veloutée allows for swifter application to much more skin than I've previously experienced without the use of a separate brush.
There's a whole load of 'bumph' on the back of the packaging about 'ultra-performing' and 'ultra-refined', which is a bit confusing, but basically the stuff works. It works well. Covering blemishes is easy-peasy and there are some lovely light reflecting elements to help with this. I also contains Hyaluronic Acid, which helps the skin to retain moisture (check out Caroline Hirons, she's a skincare queen and raves about the stuff!).
Altogether a finer class of concealer, I'm sure you'll agree!
