Bullet Journal with Me Series

Bullet Journals are a way to organise your life to be more productive. This productivity subculture is taking over the journal world and it have finally gotten to me. I am an avid mixed media journal artist. I created travel journals and even junk journals before. However, I never venture into the need for creating bullet journals until now. No harm in trying to track my life right? Thus, the whole of June, I produced a plan with, bullet journal spread every week.

In every bullet journal spread, there have to be a number of different collections from future log to monthly log to daily log. Since I am using my planner to keep track of my monthly log, I decided to do a weekly collection that depicts my daily log.

2020 Journal Cover

I started the series with a simple spread, a 2020 cover page. The sticker illustration on the cover page was created by me as part of my Moon Sticker Pack freebie. It represents the sun, the earth, the sky and the water connecting together to be 1.

Youtube Video Tracker

During April and May, I was rapidly collaborating with various journal users from Instagram and Youtube to create various journal spreads and DIY videos. Thus, I created this collection to track and summarize the collaboration videos that I'd posted.

Weekly Lunar/ Moon Bullet Journal Setup

This lunar spread features the moon sticker set that I designed for my ko-fi supporters. I illustrated 5 different moon phases and a moon tarot card so I shrunk them all down and duplicated 2 of the moon phases to create the moon phases bullet journal spread. This is a weekly collection of a random week in June. I jot down what happens in that week in point form here.

Small Happiness Relationship Tracker

The next video from my Bullet Journal series is a bullet journal tracker idea video that combines 4 of my spread in a video to show you what tracker ideas you can include in your journal. The first idea I have is the His and Her small happiness tracker. Here I painted a photo of the sunrise and sunset as the background since the sun to me represents optimism. I cut the pages in half and place the dates on the line while I jot down each of our small happiness on the sides of the line.

Polariod Music Playlist + Goals Tracker

Next in the Bullet Journal series spread I have a polariod theme spread. I created 2 trackers in this collection. The first tracker is the music playlist tracker. To me, the polariod frame reminds me of the good of days of the ipod and the MP3 player. Thus, I find this design very fitting to add my playlist of 'yous'.

On the other side, I added a pictorial goals tracker. Aside from listing my goals, I decide to draw them out in little polariods so that I can better visualize them. The more important and doable goals would be on the bigger polariods and the small polariods would be the scarier ones.

Yearly Yoga Tracker 2020

The last journal spread that I have is my year long yoga tracker. Since I hate sports but I am at the age where I need to go out of my way to exercise to maintain my health, I chose yoga. This year long spread help me track my progress so that I know whether I should make more time for yoga or have a day or two to relax. It's straightforward, easy to use with no frills on it.

Bullet Journal Series Reflection

With that, that's it for my Bullet Journal with me series. I will not be posting any more Bullet Journal with me videos in the near future for I don't enjoy creating the journal spreads from scratch. As of now, I am currently using the yearly yoga tracker and I created another 2 weekly journal set ups but that was it. I think having a bullet journal is a great way to track your life like how I did in my 2019 1 second a day for 365 days video. It can be a little tedious to draw everything by hand so bullet journaling is not for everyone. I will do another yearly yoga spread next year and a small happiness spread but other than that, I enjoy using my current planner to track my days in a messy fashion.

A way you can make creating bullet journal spreads easier for you is to use stickers. I am giving out a set of moon phases and tarot moon stickers if you support me on my ko-fi page. If I reach the goal funding on the the page, I will be creating a set of 12 horoscope tarot card stickers for all of you to enjoy.
