Brussel Sprout and Hamburger Gratin (LCHF)

Do you want some low-carb recipe inspiration? Surprise your family with this different dish. A super delicious combination of hearty Brussels sprouts and cheese-covered ground beef.

Difficulty: Easy
Cooking time: 40 min. Preparation time: 5 min.

Ingredients, 4 servings

Brussel Sprout and Hamburger Gratin (LCHF)
1 lb (450 g) ground beef
½ lb (225 g) bacon, diced
1 lb (450 g) Brussels sprouts, cut in two
4 tablespoons sour cream
2 oz. (50 g) butter
5 oz. (150 g) cheese, grated
1 tablespoon herbes de provence
salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

Set the oven to 425°F (220°C).

Fry the bacon and brussel sprouts in butter. Season and stir in sour cream. Place in a baking dish.

Fry the ground beef golden-brown, season with salt and pepper and sprinkle on top of the brussel sprouts. Add cheese and herbs.

Place in the middle of the oven for 15 minutes or until done.

Serving suggestion: A fresh salad
