Broccoli and Cauliflower Gratin with Sausage

Broccoli and Cauliflower Gratin with Sausage

Outrageously delicious one-dish dinner that is popular with all ages. Choose high-quality sausages with a high meat content and without unnecessary additives.

Cooking time: 30 min. Preparation time: 5 min.

Ingredients, 4 servings

Broccoli and Cauliflower Gratin with Sausage1 lb (450 g) sausage (make sure it is of high quality - no wheat or carbs)
1 leek, chopped
1 yellow onion, chopped
1 lb (450 g) broccoli florets
½ lb cauliflower florets
2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
8 oz (200-300 ml) natural rich sour cream
¾ cup (200 ml) cheese, grated
2 oz (50 g) butter for frying
A handful of fresh thyme or 2 tablespoons dried thyme
Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

Broccoli and Cauliflower Gratin with SausagePreheat the oven to 450°F (225°C).

Chop vegetables and sausage.

Fry onion and vegetables in butter in one pan and the sausage in a separate pan.

Put the vegetables in a baking dish, blend the mustard with the sour cream and pour over the vegetables. Add the sausage and cheese on top and season with thyme.

Bake in oven on upper rack for 15 minutes.
