Breaking Down Flick Eyeliner A.K.A The Cat Eye

By Pragya

My sweet Pouties,

I hope all of you are doing fine!!

Today is Wednesday and I have a flamboyant Wednesday post for you girls… But before startingToday’s post is a very basic

Breakdown of Flick A.K.A the cat eye

Nothing special Or NewIt’s very basic stuff and I am sure most of you would have known it But my point of putting up here is just to represent my way of doing it!!

So let’s start the first method!!

spoon THE SPOON

  1. Take any random spoon
  2. Place it on the outer corner of your eye, adjoining it to the lower lash line!!
  3. Using any liner, liquid, gel or felt, trace a small line creating the flick.
  4. Now outline your lash line like you do normally and join the flick and the outline

It’s done!!! Very simple and quick!!

Tip: – if you are as new as me, try using a black shadow first to trace the line and when u get the perfect flick you can go back with your favorite liner!!

tape THE SCOTCH TAPE

  1. Cut out a small piece of scotch tape and stick it on your hand to lessen the adhesive!!
  2. Place it on your outer corner of the lid in an angle to your lower lash line!!
  3. Line your eyelid like you normally do and then trace along the edges of the tape,
  4. Join both the lines, making a v shape and filling inside!

It’s done!!

Tip: – Don’t go too high with the angle and also, the line that you will trace might not come as perfect; it may be thin a bit, but you can always go back and fill it as per your style!!

DSC00769 copyThe Perfect Inner Corner:-

When you outline your inner corner always remember, make it parallel to the flick or vice versaYou can always create the flick parallel to the inner corner… Trust me you will never go wrong!!

So girls… do let me know did you like the post and also is there some other way you find easier to do it?? Please share, I would really love to explore it!!
