Happy Happy Monday!
I always have an exhilarating experience doing what I do within this space and it is usually a product of what I do on a daily. I love that this provides an opportunity for me to play around with the thousand and one ideas partying in my head throughout the day. Here I'm allowed to let loose, put together different get-ups with some underlying edginess. Mostly I like that I'm allowed to have fun with my style as I go along discovering new things and experimenting.
Last week, the tomboy in me came out to play and I found myself drawn to masculine pieces which had me putting together this look.
I opted for boyfriend jeans, which my mom called 'oversized', and a regular black tee. This is just your basic, run-of-the-mill casual look for Saturday brunch with your girls or an evening movie date with friends. Then again, if you want to get really comfortable, you could always trade in the heels for some comfy flat sandals and you're good to go.
I fell in love with this lightwash blue jeans at first sight, it was like a hunger in me had been satisfied the moment I bought this. It was a major steal as it was on sale at the time and I literally started throwing round ideas in my head centred around styling this piece. One of my favorite ideas was wearing it paired with this denim and beige barely-there two-part sandals I copped on UrbanOG sometime in September which I hadn't gotten around to wearing...it was obviously time to break out the new shoes.
The sun refused to let us be great but we decided to still take pictures under the scorching sun but honestly, I prefer the sun to the rain any day. I had such a good time that even the heat couldn't dampen the sheer joy I derived from twirling around in my outfit.

I'm excited for the Holiday season that is just around the corner and I can't wait to start putting together a wishlist and gift ideas which I will be sharing with you all.
