WHAT THE PRODUCT CLAIMS
Bourjois has used the revolutionary “baked technology” since 1863 to give its eyeshadows an ultra soft, light and easy-to-blend formula. Dont be shy, apply as much color as you want for a luminous result.
Rounded, colourful and smart compact cases, as precious as jewels!
A unique feminine design with integrated mirror and applicator for an easy application anytime, anywhere.
A hypoallergenic formula, paraben and fragrance free.
Contains up to 80% of mineral pigments.
PACKAGING
The eye shadow comes in a round shaped plastic pot which has a flip open cap. It shuts tightly that there’s no room for worry if you carry it while traveling. The lip closes and locks the pot and there is a tiny steel button on the side to press open the lid. I find the packaging brilliant.
It has a small mirror and a sponge applicator inside. While the mirror is an added advantage I don’t find much use of the applicator. It is so tiny that application is difficult. As it is, I don’t prefer sponge applicators for eyeshadow. I prefer using a brush instead.
The shade name is printed on the bottom of the pot. The pot comes in the same shade as that of the eyeshadow so it is easy to locate this tiny beauty from among a pile of makeup products.
MY TAKE ON THE PRODUCT
It is a beautiful purple eye shadow which has tiny shimmer particles. Like any other baked eyeshadow it is little dry but it applies evenly and blends beautifully.
The pigmentation is good and with a good primer it can be improved. With a wet brush it applies more intensely. There is no fall out noticed and it stayed on my oily eyelids for around 8 hours till the time I took it off. There was slight fading but nothing to be worried about.
It is actually a blackened purple which makes it more appropriate for soft smokey eye makeup and also for lining the upper and lower lash lines.
I have applied here as a thick eye liner on my upper lash line.
