Bourjois Volume 1 Seconde Mascara

Hey there,

Yes another mascara review, it seems like I am on a bit of a lucky roll at the moment with my mascaras, (All but the Miners one). Maybe it’s my lashes having a good day or should I say few months, but I am seeming to be getting on really well with some of the high street brands at the moment, like Loreals Million Lash Mascara, Collections 5in1 Mascara, and now Bourjois 1 Seconde Volume Mascara.

I first saw Kate from Sugarfixxbeauty post on this little eyelash beauty back in July, so of course when I spotted it in my local Boots I had to pick one up. We all know I love a big volume mascara. As far as I can remember, this is the first EVER Bourjois mascara I have brought or even tried. Bourjois used to be my ‘go to’ for eye shadows, or bronzer’s back in the day, but  more recently I have found myself revisiting their cosmetic stands, purely through reading other beauty blogs. The other month I purchased  their CC Cream, which I just adore, and now one of their mascara’s,  (They have definitely gone back up in my estimations, for sure).

According to Bourjois the brush is a unique design, but I can’t help but think that the style of brush between my most recent mascara loves, aren’t that different, and that’s maybe why I’m having such luck with them. Anywhoo, they say it’s a patented brush, with spherical and straight bristles which means that the mascara can be wrapped around and coat all the lashes while reducing any clumping, (None of that sticky lash look here thanks).

It’s easy to remove, it lasts all day, (Well as long as I want it to at least), my lashes look lengthened and thicker, with even my mom making compliments about them. The formula is perfect, not too runny, (Even on first use) and even after a few weeks use it hasn’t dried out, (Ticking boxes isn’t it?).

Mascara being one of my ultimate beauty must haves, you can imagine I’ve tried a fair few.

What is your Bourjois ‘go to’ make up?

Lots of love,
KBxx
