Ingredients: 

  • 3/4 cup sweet boondi
  • Pinch of saffron strands (kesar) 
  • 1 lit full-fat milk
  • 1/4 cup condensed Sugar to taste
  • 1 teaspoon cardamom powder
  • Almonds &Pistachio slivers as per choice

Preparation:

  • Combine the saffron strands with little warm milk in a bowl and mix well and Keep aside.

Method

  1. Boil the milk in a heavy-bottom deep pan over medium heat, till it reduces to half its original quantity while stirring constantly.
  2. Add the sugar or 1/4 cup condensed milk.
  3. Add saffron milk and cardamom powder and mix well to dissolve it.
  4. Remove from heat and allow the milk to cool completely.
  5. Add the boondi, Almond & pistachio and mix smoothly.
  6. Refrigerate and serve chilled.
